Our Purpose and Standard

Our Purpose:

To love and minister unto the Lord and to one another. To express the fullness of Jesus Christ to the world.  To love, worship and obey God.  To abide IN Christ and labor that Jesus would be formed IN the church.

Our Purpose/Mission Expanded:

For the equipping of the saints for the work of service unto Jesus our Messiah and His body, to the building up of the body of Christ. To have “whole-body” ministry (Eph. 4:12).

To lay down our lives for one another and love one another as Christ (Messiah) loves us. (John 13:34).

Preach the gospel to the poor; proclaim release to the captives; bring sight to the blind; set the oppressed free; to proclaim the acceptable day of the Lord. (Luke 4:18).

Declare as we go that the kingdom of heaven is here within reach; heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons, giving freely what we have received (Mt 10:7-8).

Make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of  Jesus Christ (Messiah) teaching them to observe all Jesus taught (Luke 24:46-47),(Mt 28:19-20), (Acts 2:38, 8:16, 10:48)

Stimulate one another to love the Lord and each other and do good deeds.  To assemble together encouraging one another more and more as the day of Christ’s return draws nearer (Heb 10:24-25).

To assemble that one might share a song, another a teaching, one a revelation, one a prophecy, another a tongue, and another an interpretation (1Cor 14:26).

To walk by or follow the Spirit to produce the fruit of the Spirit (Gal 5:16,22,25).

Overcome evil by the blood of the lamb and our testimony to Christ Jesus (Messiah) and be willing to die if necessary in obedience to Christ (Rev 12:11).

To praise the name of the Lord with song, dancing, and instruments of praise (Ps 149:3).

Lay aside all encumbering cares and every sin and run with endurance the race set before us continually fixing our eyes on Jesus (Yeshua) the author and perfecter of faith (Heb 12:1,2).

To do justice, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God. (Micah 6:8).
